We are always open to new partnerships as well. For more information regarding Collaborative Research Opportunities, please contact us.

SPS has entered into a number of partnerships and joint development agreements to leverage its application design and supply chain capabilities and facilitate the implementation of our business model. Our partnerships with Penn State MRI, PA Nano, National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Naval Research (ONR) and the Air Force Research Laboratory have expedited the volume-scale commercialization of our polymer films. Our Joint Development Agreement with Solvay gives us a powerful resin development and manufacturing partner. Our commercial partners include several very well-known medical device manufacturers, electronics manufacturers, and transportation companies. These organizations have funded the company’s research activities that are directed at providing new products for their businesses. Our partnerships with Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania and Seton Medical Center in California give us access to physicians who help design surgical tools with our actuators. They also provide SPS with animal testing facilities for our medical device products.
SPS is proud to be associated with several fine business support organizations that have given their time, talent, and resources to help our company grow. Most notable among these organizations are: Life Sciences Greenhouse of Central Pa., Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Penn State IPO, RCO and IRO, and the CBICC. These organizations provide the critical services that are required for any start-up to succeed.
