SPS executives will participate in two important conferences and trade shows during the month of March. The first is the SPIE Smart Structures and Materials Conference in San Diego. (March 8-12). The second is the CARTS Conference and Exhibition In New Orleans (March 15-18)

SPIE is a gathering of top scientists and researchers from corporations and universities. The SPS focus will be on Electroactive Polymer (EAP) actuators and applications. We will be attending to distribute information summarizing the operating characteristics of our actuators and EAP films and answer any questions from potential customers. Please look for us at the meeting and we look forward to your inquiries.

Strategic Polymer Sciences (SPS) to Introduce Capacitor Film at CARTS Conference

SPS CEO, Ralph Russo, announced that the company would introduce its high energy density film at the CARTS 2010 Conference and Exhibit in New Orleans (March 15 -18). The company will roll out its line of capacitors and capacitor film for high energy density pulse power applications. Please visit us at Booth #9.

Dr. Shihai Zhang, SPS Director of Engineering, will present a paper on “High Dielectric Polymer Capacitors” to scientists and engineers attending the CARTS Exhibit. Dr. Zhang will show how polymer film capacitors are ideally suited for applications requiring high energy density and fast discharge speeds.
